Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the registration link for the Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) recruitment for the term 2024. All the interested candidates who have registered and submitted their application forms can now be prepared for the first round of the selection test (recruitment process) for the exam dates have been already released to the official website.

Bihar Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) Recruitment Process

 

There will be two rounds of tests involved in the recruitment process of the Bihar Block Horticluver Officer.

 

  1. Written exam 
  2. Personal interview

 

The written exam can be given in either Hindi or English language. There will be two parts of papers and a total of 300 objective questions. The first paper will be of 100 marks and the questions will be asked based on general knowledge and the language command (Hindi or English). The second paper will be subject-related questions from Horticulture and Agricultural Science. This total of 300 questions should be attempted in 4 hours and each paper will get 2 hours each to attempt the questions in it.

Personal Interview 

After the first round is cleared, selected candidates will be called forward to give personal interviews. They will also be asked to carry important documents along with them for verification. If any details filled out on the application form are found unmatched then the candidates will be disqualified from the round, even if they have given an appalling performance in the interview. Another thing that is not tolerated in this round is not being able to submit all the required documents asked to bring along with the selected candidates. This is how the most efficient and promising candidates are hand-picked by the recruiting committee.

 

The final round will decide the name of the shortlisted candidates who will be given call letters to join the service in a short time.

 

Salary Structure for the Bihar, Block Horticulture Officer Post

 

The early starting salary will start from Rs 25550 per month which will be added up to Rs 81100 with time and experience.

The exam dates are released on the official website and according to the notice, the written exam will take place on the 12th and 13th of August of 2024. There is still time to do a lot of preparation and consistency is the key. The admit card will surely come out 5 to 6 days ahead of the exam day. It is the individual responsibility to get it downloaded from the official website and get a printout of it to carry on the exam day. Without a physical copy of the admit card, no candidate will be permitted to take the exam.
