JSSC CGL Exam 2024
This exam is conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission to select graduates for government posts in Jharkhand. The 2024 JSSc CGL exams are for 2017 B and C-level posts. The basic eligibility is graduation, but each post has its eligibility. JSSC CGL Exam Admit Card Release Date
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, via its recently released notification, announced that candidates can download the JSSC CGL Exam Admit Card from 17th September 2024. The candidates have four days before the exam to download their admit cards. If there is any issue, candidates should reach out to the JSSC.
JSSC Exam Details
The JSSC CGL Exam has three papers containing objective and multiple-choice questions. There is a negative marking, too. The candidate gets three marks for each correct answer and will lose one mark for every incorrect answer. The paper duration is two hours.
Paper 1
Paper 1 tests Hindi and English Language Skills. It is for 360 marks. The JSSC will not check paper numbers 2 and 3 of candidates who score less than 30% in this exam. Such candidates will not be considered any further in the selection process. The paper pattern for this is tabled below;

Paper II

Candidates who score less than 30% in this paper will not qualify for the next level. Their Paper III will not be checked.
Paper III
This paper tests knowledge in general knowledge, science, etc. This exam is also for two hours. Total marks are 450. The questions are multiple-choice and objective kind. The details of this paper are tabled below;

JSSC CGL Result 2024
The results are generally announced soon after the JSSC CGL exam. The results will be available on the JSSC website. We will share details of the results once the JSSC releases the notification. If the exam is conducted over many shifts, the marks are normalised. The minimum qualifying marks vary according to the categories. The JSSC prepares a merit list accordingly.
