• On the dashboard, click on the ‘New Registration’ button
• Register yourself by entering your name, address, mobile number, email ID, and qualification. 
• Click on register button 
• When the registration is complete, you will receive your registration id and password on your phone number and email ID 
• Use the information to login to the portal 
• Fill the application form as instructed. 
• Field details of the scholarship you want to apply for.
• Fill in all important details such as your address, account details, and education qualifications. 
• Upload scanned copies of the documents as instructed.
• Recheck the form for any errors. 
• Click on the submit button.
• Your application is submitted. 
• A confirmation mail confirming your application will be sent to your email ID.
• Download or take a printout of the application form, to keep a check on the status of your application. 

 

How to check application status? 

A student can keep a check on the status of the application made through the National Scholarship Portal. To find out the status and check whether the application form is still pending, accepted or rejected, the applicant can click on ‘track your application’ on the dashboard to check the status. 

 

Correction Form

The students who have applied for any scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal also have an option of making corrections to their application form in case they made any minute errors. However, there is only a specified time period till which an applicant can make corrections to his/her application form. 

Though there is a provision of making corrections to the application form after submission, it is strongly suggested that an applicant thoroughly reviews his/her application before submission so that there is no need to make corrections at a later time.
