RRB ALP Recruitment Application Process

To apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment application, here are the steps that you need to follow. However, the RRB ALP Recruitment Application Process is completed. You cannot apply for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 now.

  • Visit the official RRB website for the region you are applying to.

  • On the homepage, Click on the application link and complete the registration process by entering basic details such as name, date of birth, and email ID. You will find the application link if the application is live.

  • After registration, log in to the account with your registration details. Make sure to provide accurate information regarding your educational qualifications, work experience, and personal details

  • Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specified format.

  • ow, pay the application fees. Application fee varies from category to category. For General/OBC candidates, it is INR 500. For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWDs/Females/Minorities/Economically backward class, it is INR 250  which is even refundable after appearing in the first stage of CBT. You can pay the application fee online or offline.

  • After the payment process is complete, review all the details and submit the application.

  • Once the application is submitted, a confirmation page will appear. Save or take a printout of this page for future use.

RRB ALP Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment, there is an eligibility criteria that you should meet. Let’s discuss it-

  • Age limit: Candidates should meet the age limit of between 18 to 33 years as of July 1, 2024. Age relaxation is provided as per government norms- SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years, PWD: 10 years, etc.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must done Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions in relevant trades or Matriculation/SSLC plus course completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades or Three three-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering or a combination of various streams of these disciplines from a recognized institution. Any of these degrees of education is a must to apply for the RRB ALP Application.

  • Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the A-1 medical standard. It must have good vision and physical fitness.

The candidates who apply for the post of RRB ALP must have the following minimum educational qualifications to be eligible for the respective posts:

Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.

The selection process consists of multiple stages:

  • First Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test): It is a test that is in a multiple choice format and it contains four main parts; Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and Current Affairs.

  • Second Stage CBT: This test is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A test recreates the first stage of CBT meaning it is similar to CBT 1 in topics while Part B is a trade-specific test.

  • Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): This test is specifically reserved for those who wish to be considered for the ALP role. It measures the attained competency level for the position of an Assistant Loco Pilot.

  • Document Verification: Those candidates who come out successful in the above stages will be called for document verification.

  • Medical Examination: Lastly, candidates are required to take and pass a physical examination aimed at determining their fitness for the working conditions of that particular business.

RRB ALP First Stage CBT

The application for the RRB ALP Recruitment is closed now. One who applied for the RRB ALP is waiting for the RRB ALP First Stage CBT 2024. There is no official notification from the RRB, but it is expected to be scheduled between June to August 2024.
