What is the Udyogini Scheme?
The government launched the Udyogini scheme to provide financial assistance to women entrepreneurs in underdeveloped and rural areas of India.
Udyogini Scheme Eligibility
- The applicant must be a woman.
- Applicants need to be between 18 and 55 yr of ages.
- Annual income of the applicant’s must be less than Rs. 1.5 lakh.
- There is no upper limit for beneficiaries who fall under the disabled, widowed, or destitute categories.
- Applicants can avail of this scheme if their businesses are engaged in small-scale industry sectors such as retailers, manufacturers, traders, self-employed professionals, and other related categories.
Documents Required for the Udyogini Scheme
Here’s the list of document’s required for the scheme
- Three colored passport-size photographs.
- Ration card or voter ID card.
- A detailed project report (DPR) of the activity for which you want financial assistance.
- A certificate regarding training or experience in the activity for which you want financial assistance.
- The family’s annual income certificate.
- If you are from scheduled tribe and scheduled caste you need to have a Caste certificate.
- Quotations on expenses for machinery, equipment, and capital.
How do I apply for the Udyogini Scheme?
Step 1: Visit the bank’s website offering loans under this scheme.
Step 2: Look for the Udyogini scheme option in the navigation bar and click the link to complete the application form.
Step 3: CDPO will scrutinize your application and forward it to the selection committee after spot verification.
Step 4: They will verify your documents.
Step 5:After successful verification, they will send a request letter for the subsidy release to the corporation.
Step 6: The bank will release the loan amount once it approves your loan application.
Step 7: They will credit the loan amount either to your bank account or supplier’s account for equipment, machinery, or capital expenditures.
Udyogini Scheme Interest Rate
It’s a interest free loan for the disabled, Dalits, and widows under this scheme, and women from other categories will have to pay 10% to 12% interest.
