1. Chevening Scholarship (UK):

For students who wish to pursue a master’s degree of one year from the United Kingdom, they can avail of this scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria. First of all, the country from which the student belongs should be eligible as per the scholarship. The student should also have a minimum of two years of work experience as well as an offer letter from the college itself. 2. Fulbright Scholarships (USA):

A requirement for all the applicants is that they must have studied in the United States for at least a year. 155 countries are eligible for this scholarship. 3. Endeavour Postgraduate Awards (Australia):

The Endeavour Postgraduate Awards is a scholarship centered around merit. It is also a competitive scholarship for students hailing from around the world to study in Australia for their master’s or PhD. Under this scholarship, there is a list of participating nations and only students who are a permanent resident of those nations can apply for this scholarship. Having a strong academic profile will be very helpful for students who wish to apply for this scholarship.

 

4. Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme (France):

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme is for international students who wish to get a master’s or doctoral degree from France. It was created by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Europe. The only downside of this scholarship is that it does not cover tuition fees. All the secondary expenses such as living and travelling expenses will be covered by this scholarship. Students will be provided with around €1100-€1700 every month for these expenses.

 

5. GREAT Scholarships (UK):

Students from only 14 participating countries will be able to avail the benefits of GREAT scholarships. Around 200 scholarships are given out by more than 49 universities, based in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is partly funded by the government and the respective university. £10,000 will be provided as educational expenses to the students who qualify for the scholarship. This scholarship is for postgraduate programmes only.

6. Revolving Establishment WorldwideReview Awards (Worldwide):

This scholarship is granted by the Turning Establishment around the world. Any university, which is approved and host to a Rotary club or district is a participant under this scholarship program. This is the first scholarship on the list that can be avoided by students on an undergraduate level. Applicants who wish to avail of this scholarship should be studying the following areas – maternal and child health, peace and conflict resolution, economic development, and other related subjects. 

 

7. Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarships (Canada):

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation has been providing students with scholarships from various educational backgrounds, such as law, public health, humanities, and others. They believe that whosoever apply for their scholarship should be well researched in things such as people under their environment, dignity and human rights, responsible citizenship and Canada and the world. students who get the scholarship will be given C$40,000, as and another C$20,000 as allowances.

 

8. Commonwealth Scholarships:

The  Commonwealth scholarship is given to those students who wish to pursue a PhD in the United Kingdom. Students belonging to Commonwealth countries can participate in the scholarship programme. The scholarship is distributed by the British Council. A requirement for students to get this scholarship is to have high proficiency in the English language and at least 70% marks in their respective academic fields. The cost of living, travelling and tuition fees is covered under this scholarship.

 

9. Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme:

The Aga Khan scholarships are given out in universities in every country except the following – Norway, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria and Sweden. These scholarships are given to students who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree. Under this scholarship, the tuition fees and the cost of living of the student are covered.

10. Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (USA, Africa, and Japan):

This scholarship is given out to those students who have certain professional experience and belong to a developing country. Another requirement is having a bachelor’s degree and work experience in the field of development. This scholarship has a lot of benefits such as funding tuition fees, stipends, travelling allowances, and more.
