GPSC Seed Officer Recruitment 2024 Selection process
Any candidate wishing to become a Seed Officer class 2 is required to go through two stages; a preliminary and an interview stage.
GPSC Seed Officer Recruitment 2024 Exam pattern
A candidate has to qualify for the Preliminary Test to appear for the interview. If the marks scored by a candidate in the Preliminary Test are less than 15%, such candidate shall not be eligible for being called for interview.
Important information regarding Preliminary Test is as under:-
The Preliminary Test shall be held at Gandhinagar or Ahmedabad, as decided by the High Court, and all candidates have to make their own arrangements for travel and stay.
Total 300 questions: 100 questions of General Studies and 200 questions of Concerned Subject.
The total marks for the entire test shall be 300 marks, and the duration of the test shall be 180 minutes.
The medium of the test shall be decided by the Commission and intimated to the candidates in due course.
Weighted Marks to be calculated for Preliminary Test & Interview:
Preliminary Test Marks = Marks obtained in Preliminary Test × 50 / 300
Interview Marks = Marks obtained in Interview × 50 / 100
Total Marks = Marks of Preliminary Test + Marks of Interview
