Rajasthan BSTC Eligibility Criteria 2024
Before appearing for the exam candidates must know the eligibility criteria that they need to fit into to sit for the examination. Here we have listed the education qualification and age limit that the candidate must fulfill to be eligible for the Rajasthan BSTC examination.
Educational Qualification
Any candidate who has passed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board is eligible to appear for the Rajasthan Pre DEIEd (BSTC) Examination 2024.
Age Criteria
All candidates who sit for the examination need to fulfill the following age criteria to sit for the Rajasthan Pre DEIEd (BSTC) Examination 2024.
- Interested candidates must not be below 18 years and must not have exceeded 28 years of age as of 1 July 2024.
- Candidates must also note that Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to certain reserved categories.
- For the candidates belonging to the OBC category, an age relaxation of 3 years is provided.
- For candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories and each relaxation of 5 years is applicable.
Rajasthan Pre DEIEd (BSTC) Examination Pattern 2024
Candidates must be acquainted with the examination pattern before appearing for the exam.
- The examination for Rajasthan BSTC happens in the offline mode.
- The exam duration is 3 hours.
- The exam comprises 230 questions that carry 690 marks in total.
- Each correct answer is awarded three marks while there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer
- The BSTC examination question paper consists of 4 parts namely A, B, C & D.
- Each part deals with different areas of testing.
- Part A comprises questions on mental ability. This part consists of 50 questions that carry 150 marks.
- Part B comprises questions on Rajasthan general knowledge. This part also comprises 50 questions carrying 150 marks.
- Part C of the paper tests the candidate in teaching aptitude. This section also carries 150 marks with 50 questions.
- Part D of the paper tests the candidates language proficiency with questions distributed across English, Hindi, and Sanskrit each carrying 20, 30, and 30 questions respectively
- The medium of the examination is Hindi and English except for the sections that are particularly testing the candidate’s language proficiency.

The admit card for the Rajasthan Pre DEIEd (BSTC) Examination 2024 is live on the official website of Rajasthan Diploma in Elementary Education Entrance Examination from 24th June 2024. Candidates who had applied for the examination can visit the official website and download the admit card from there. - To download the admit card, candidates have to first of all head to the official website of the Rajasthan Diploma in Elementary Education Entrance Examination.
- Candidates must now login using their login credentials as went to their email IDs.
- Once logged in, under the option of admit cards, candidates have to select the zone in which they had applied.
- Click on the submit button and your admit card will open on your desktop screen.
- Candidates must download the admit card and take a printout of this to the examination hall on 30th June 2024 at the center assigned to them.
