Ways to download TNEA Counselling Round 1 Seat AllotmentÂ
The direct link will be made available by authorities on the official TNEA website allowing candidates to download their seat allotments once it is released which can only be accessed through TNEA 2024 registered email and password. To check for the allocation of seats in TNEA 2024, follow these steps.Â
- Access the official TNEA website at: https://www.tneaonline.org/.Â
- Click on the “@Login” located at the upper right corner of the home page.Â
- On the login portal, provide the email address that you used during registration and write in your password as well.Â
- After signing in, find and click on the “Provisional Allotment” link.Â

TNEA Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment Released- what’s next?
After the TNEA 2024 provisional seat allotment is released, candidates must follow these steps:Â
- Seat Options: Candidates who have been allocated seats in State Engineering colleges can either accept the allotment given to them, accept it but go for upward movement, decline the seat and apply for upward movement, or withdraw from TNEA counseling but still opt for upward movement. If candidates choose to go for upward movement during counseling rounds, they are free to do so.Â
- Submission of Allotment Choice: It is necessary that candidates submit the allotment choices without delay else all seat allotments will be canceled.Â
- Acceptance and Reporting: Downloading a provisional seat allotment letter is what a candidate has to do after accepting their respective assigned seats. This person is then required to report at the referred institution following final allocation in order to confirm his/her space, finalize admission formalities, and make payments on tuition fees.
- Future Counseling Sessions: The sequence of glint fixing for students who are ranked between 26,655 and 104,602 will take place from August 10, 2024, to August 12, 2024, and the seat allocation is going to happen on August 13, 2024. The third stage of glint fixing will be held from 23rd August 2024 up until 25th August 2024 and again the delivery date for seats – is August 26th, 2024.
You can ask for reimbursement of the counseling deposit because you haven’t received allotments during online counseling for TNEA 2024 and are thus entitled to get back your first counseling fees from TNEA.
