SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the SSC MTS 2024, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria or not-
Educational Qualification: To apply for the SSC MTS, you require a Minimum of matriculation (Class 10) from a well-known board.
Age Limit: Generally between 18 to 25 years, with some posts allowing up to 27 years. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
How to Register for SSC MTS?

On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Now’ to register yourself on the SSC.
Fill out the basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. carefully check the email ID or phone number.
Submit the form. Within a few minutes, you will get the registration ID and password on your registered email and mobile number.
For the first time, SSC MTS computer-based exam will be held in “15 languages” and the candidates have to choose their choice of language while filling out their application form.

How to Apply for SSC MTS?
Once you’re registered with the SSC, you can apply for the SSC MTS application form.
Visit the official website of SSC by clicking on the ssc.nic.in
On the homepage, click on the Login button. Use the registration ID and password to log in to the portal. Complete the one-time registration (OTR) process by filling in additional details like educational qualifications, address, and identity proof.
Once you complete the OTR, navigate to the ‘Apply’ section.
Select the ‘MTS 2024’ application form. You will see an MTS link, once it is released by the SSC.
Provide your required details, including educational qualifications and work experience and upload the required document in the specified format.
Also, Upload a scanned copy of your signature in the specified format (JPEG/JPG).
Now, Pay the application fee online using methods like BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or credit/debit cards.
Once payment is done, review all the details carefully and submit the application form.

SSC MTS Application Fees
SSC MTS Application Fees vary as per the categories. SSC MTS Exam is free for all the female and SC/ST categories. Rest categories have to pay a 100 application fee during the application process.
Computer-Based Examination (CBE): It is a computer-based exam which is conducted first. The exam consists of two sessions: Session I and Session II. Section Session-I includes Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. Session II includes General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): It is a physical test, which is only applicable for the post of Havaldar. It involves walking tests and physical measurements. Below are the required physical measurements for Havaldar post-

Document Verification: When candidates clear the computer-based exam and physical test, they will reach the document verification stage. Candidates have to submit their documents and verify all the documents to the SSC officer.
SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam pattern
Session-I includes Numerical and Mathematical Ability, and Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. It contains 40 questions for 60 marks, which need to be completed in 45 minutes. 20 questions each from Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving.
Session II includes General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. It contains 50 questions for 150 marks, which need to be completed in 45 minutes. 25 questions each from General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension.
Negative marking: There is no negative marking in Session I. Session 2 has a negative marking, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
