RRB Group D 2024 Level-I Exam Pattern
The Railway Administration holds the discretion to conduct the Computer-Based Test (CBT) in either a single or multiple stages. Candidates who pass the CBT will be required to take a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Note that there will be a penalty of 1/3rd of a mark for each incorrect answer.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 selection process is conducted in three stages, as follows-

Computer-Based test: It is a computer-based test containing 100 objective-type questions. It is focused on Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. Candidates have to complete the test within 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Physical Efficiency Test: It is a physical fitness test. Various physical activities are given to the candidate to test their strength, etc. There are different activities for the male and female candidates.

Document verification: One who passes the Computer-Based Test and Physical Efficiency Test. comes to the document verification test. It is the last stage. One who clears this stage is selected for RRB Group D.
How to Apply for RRB Group D?
If you want to apply for the RRB Group D recruitment exam, then here are the simple steps that you should follow-

Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), by clicking on http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/.

On the homepage, navigate to the RRB Group D 2024 recruitment notification. It will be live when RRB starts the recruitment process.

Use the Registration ID and password to log in to your account. If you do not have a login ID and password, then you need to register yourself. Click on the ‘New Registration’ link provide your details and select your RRB region. Submit the form to create a unique Registration ID and password. credentials will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.

Once you log in to your account, fill out the application form. You need to enter your details with educational qualifications, and other required information. Make sure all the entered documents are accurate and match with the document.

Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and any other required documents in the specified format.

Now, time to pay the application fee. The application fee for General/OBC candidates is ā¹500, out of which ā¹400 is refundable upon appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). For SC/ST/EWS/Women/Ex-Servicemen/
PwBD candidates, the fee is ā¹250, which is fully refundable upon taking the CBT. You can pay the application fee online via net banking, debit/credit card, etc. -

After submission, a confirmation page will be displayed. Take a printout of the page for future use.
Once the RRB Group D application process is completed, start your preparation. You can download the RRB Group D admit card, 1-2 weeks before the exam.
