The IBPS PO Exam is a prestigious exam conducted on a yearly basis to recruit Probationary Officers for various public sector banks in India. The main authority which manages and conducts this exam is the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). This exam was started in 2011 and since then it has been conducted every year.
This year in 2024 it will be its 14th edition. With the IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XIV 2024 notice name this exam aims to recruit candidates for around 11 public sector banks in India.

Educational Degree
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Computer Literacy
Basic knowledge of computer operations is a must.
Language Proficiency
Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT for which a candidate applies is desirable.
Age Limit
20 to 30 years as on the date specified in the notification.

Graduation Degree
A graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech, etc.) in any discipline from a recognized university by the Government of India. Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government are also eligible.
Candidates must have a valid mark sheet/degree certificate that certifies their graduation on the day they register for the exam. They must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.
Computer Literacy
Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job and for taking the IBPS PO exam, which is conducted online.
Language Proficiency
Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the language.

Candidates belonging to categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India.

Stage
Details
Phase 1: Preliminary Exam
Shortlist candidates based on category-wise requirements for the Main Exam.
Phase 2: Main Exam
Qualify both sectional and overall cutoff to be eligible for the interview.
Phase 3: Interview
Conducted by Participating Organizations coordinated by the Nodal Bank with IBPS assistance.
Final Result
Based on combined performance in the Main Exam and Interview.
Provisional Allotment
Based on preferences made during the online application, banks are allotted to qualified candidates.
