The ICMR National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad invites online applications for the filling up of regular vacancies for Technical Assistant (Group-B), Laboratory Attendant-1 (Group-C), and Technician-I (Group-C).
In accordance with the advertisement, the NIN is advertising 20 open positions in various departments. By 16 June 2024, candidates who are interested should fill out an online application form on the official ICMR NIN website. Hyderabad ICMR-NIN Group C Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Below are the eligibility criteria for applicants who wish to apply for the most recent recruitment campaign for ICMR NIN, Hyderabad:
Citizenship: Candidates who can apply for the post are those from India as citizens, the people in Nepal and Bhutan, and the people from Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, Pakistan, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam, or Malawi who are of Indian origin and intend to settle permanently in India.
Age limit: The age bar for Technical Assistant (Group B) candidates is from 18 to 30 years old. The age limit is 18 to 28 years for Technician-1(Group C) candidates applying for it. Applicants interested in becoming Laboratory Assistant–1 should be in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) will provide relaxation on age restrictions as per government norms.
Technical Assistant (Group B): He/She must be a graduate with a first-class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Science from a recognized university or institution.
Technician-1 (Group C): The qualification normally needed is 12th Grade pass in at least 55% marks in science-based subjects or equivalent—additional Requirement: A one-year diploma in dietetics from an institute recognized by the government.
Laboratory Attendant-1: 10th passed with at least 50% marks from any recognized board. An experience of one year in a laboratory that is government-registered, recognized, or approved is mandatory.
Hyderabad ICMR-NIN Group C Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:
The recruitment process for Group C jobs in the ICMR-NIN (Hyderabad) comprises these stages:
Written Examination
Typing Test (for LDC, UDC positions)
Document Verification
Medical Examination.
Written examination Details
The test that is written will be only in English and go for 90 minutes.
90 objective-type questions in multiple-choice format, where each question is worth 1 mark, constitute the examination.
In order to prevent impersonation, biometric tests or maybe photo matching might be carried out during computer-based exams.
Marks that are received in the CBT include 95% weight whilst 5% gives consideration to Research/Lab/Field Experience in any Government-approved/registered institution after meeting the prescribed Essential Qualifications for Recruitment/Advertisement.
Each incorrect answer you give will earn you a penalty of 0.25.
An extra 5% of marks shall be granted to the candidates after the Post Essential Qualification Research/Lab/Field experience as hereinafter stated in the following manner:
