For GATE Registration 2025 without a late fee, the last date is September 26, 2024. To complete registration candidates need to fill up the application form and upload relevant documents along with paying the prescribed amount as the registration fee. Step 1: Registration
Go to the official website: visit www.iitr.ac.in and access the GATE Online Application Processing System.
Initiate registration: Click the “Login” button and select “Register.”
Enter details: provide your name, email ID, and mobile number, and create a password.
An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter that to generate your GATE login credentials.
Get Enrollment ID: Note down the unique enrollment ID for future purposes.
Log In: Use your GATE Enrollment ID and password to log into the GATE Application Form.
Information Filling: Fill in personal details, academic information, and address. Finally, you need to select the GATE paper and examination centers.
Upload Documents: The next step is to make sure that your photo, signature, or any relevant certificates are already scanned and ready for upload in the required formats.
Step 3: Application Fees Payment
Payment of Fees: For us to pay your fees, you should use net banking services or you can also pay through a debit card or credit so that they can accept such payment methods. However, e-challans are no longer accepted.
All Other Candidates: Rs.1800 (normal), Rs.2300 (late).
Additional Expenses: There may be online transaction fees charged during the process of payment. The fee is neither refundable nor transferable at any point in time.
Step 4: Accepting the Declaration
Read and Accept: Read the declaration statement that says all information given is correct.
Declaration Acceptance: The form shall only be submitted after the declaration has been accepted. One agrees to the code of conduct, and acknowledges the consequences of incorrect information.

GATE Registration 2025: Documents required
The following documents and details should be kept ready by applicants to ensure a smooth GATE Registration 2025 process:
Personal Details: Name (as in the 10th certificate), date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, and parent’s mobile number.
Communication Address: Complete address including pin code.
Eligibility Degree Details: The stream and name of the qualifying degree (as in the degree certificate). This information will decide the paper that one can choose for writing the exam.
College Details: Name and address of the college with pin code.
GATE Papers: Subject(s) for which the exam is being taken.
Cities for Examination: Four choices of preferred GATE Examination cities.
Photo: Good quality image as per specification.
Signature: Good quality image as per the specification.
Category Certificate: Scanned Copy of SC/ST Certificate in case of SC/ST Category candidate in PDF format.
PwD Certificate: Scanned copy of the PwD certificate in case of Persons with Disability in PDF Format.
Dyslexia Certificate: A scanned copy of the Certificate of Dyslexia in case of a candidate with dyslexia in PDF Format.
Photo ID: Details of Valid Photo Identity Document.
Payment Details: Holds information about net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI for fee payment.
