Kerala SET application process
The first step of the recruitment is to fill out the application form. Unfortunately, the application forms have now closed. Step-by-step procedure is attached below on how to fill the application form.
- Firstly, you will have to go to the official website of LBS Centre for science and technology.
- Find the option for the new registration and register accordingly.
- Fill in all your important details correctly and make sure to double check.
- Also upload any documents if required.
- Pay the application fee. For unreserved and OBC category, application fee is ₹1000 while for reserved categories, application fees ₹500.
- You are now ready to submit the form.

Eligibility criteria for Kerala SET
An eligibility criteria has been created by the LSB Centre for science and technology. Candidates will have to make sure that they meet this criteria. Those candidates who don’t meet the requirements of this criteria cannot qualify further.
- Educational qualification: Educational requirements are different for assistant professors in different fields. The basic eligibility to sit for the exam is having a postgraduate degree in your respective field with at least 50 percent marks. This degree should be from a recognised university.
- Age limit: There is no age limit for candidates who have applied for Kerala SET. They place all importance on educational qualifications and believe in providing equal opportunities to people regardless of their age.
Selection Process
The selection process for Kerala assistant professors only includes two exams, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates will have to get the required marks in both these papers to further qualify and get recruited. Candidates who miss the mark in these exams will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
Exam pattern for Kerala SET
A certain pattern has been created for both paper one and paper two, which are part of the Kerala SET. We will be providing information about this pattern, so candidates can get an idea of what the example will look like.
- Both the papers will be conducted in off-line mode and have a total of 120 questions.
- The duration of both the exams will also be the same which is two hours.
- No negative marking will be done in both the papers.
