OICL AO Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The following stages of selection will be undergone by the applicants for the position of Administrative Officer:
Prelims Exam: This phase comprises a qualifying objective type exam that does not take the Prelims marks into account in forming the final merit list.
Mains Exam: Objective and descriptive papers make up the Main Exam, accounting for an overall score of 230 marks (200 for objectives and 30 for descriptive). To move to this stage, a candidate must obtain minimum scores both in each section as well as cumulatively.
Interview: The Interview is the next step taken by those who have passed their Mains Exam. The final choice depends on both the main exam and the Interview with 80% weightage given to the Online Exam while 20% goes to Interview alone.
