The complete selection process of SSC Stenographer is explained below:

  1. Release of Application Form: The application form is released online. The application fee is INR 100, but women and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and ESM categories are exempted from fee payment.
  2. Issue of Admit Card: The admit card is released online on the respective regional websites of the commission. Candidates can access their admit cards by logging in with their registration ID/roll number/candidate’s name and password.
  3. Computer-Based Test: This is the first stage of the SSC Stenographer exam. The computer-based test is conducted for all candidates who successfully register for the exam. The exam comprises three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. The total marks for the test are 200.
  4. Declaration of Result: The result is declared online for different stages of the exam. The result is made available in PDF format and displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Along with the result, SSC Stenographer cut-off marks for various posts and categories are also released.
