The application should only be made by persons who satisfy the entire minimum qualification requirements on their own as specified in the formal notification released by the commission regarding SSC Stenographer Recruitment. Some of such qualifications are:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed intermediate (12th grade) from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limits:
Grade C: Maximum age is 30 years.
Grade D: Maximum age is 27 years.
Minimum Age for Both Posts: 18 years.Â

OBC candidates: 3 years
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
SSC Stenographer 2024 Exam pattern
The SSC Steno 2024 exam is a computer-based test comprised of three sections; Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.In total, there will be 200 questions on the exam conducted. 1 mark is given for each right answer while there is a negative marking of 0.25 for a wrong one besides unanswered ones being awarded zero marks. In both Hindi as well as in English language, the question paper would be created.
Skill test: The notification provides details on the candidates selected after taking the first Computer-Based Exam; they will be subjected to a Skill Test. The test for Stenographer Grade C consists of 10-minute long dictation in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm). On the other hand, Stenographer Grade D has a dictation speed of 80 wpm.

SSC Stenographer 2024 Selection process
The SSC Stenographer selection procedure 2024 features 4 stages that every candidate should pass to be eligible:
Computer-Based Test: An assessment of three parts including Reasoning, General Awareness, and English worth 200 Marks.
Shorthand Skill Test (Qualifying):
Grade C: a 10-minute dictation in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm).
Grade D: Dictation for 80 wpm.
Document Verification: all related documents are needed from candidates when verifying them at the main office.
Medical Fitness Test: Candidates had better obey job requirements prepared according to them than they need healthy lives.
