The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh is all set to begin the registration of UP NEET UG counseling 2024 from August 20. On the official website upneet.gov.in, all the candidates who become eligible for MBBS or BDS in UP should sign up.
However, candidates will need to fill out their application forms by August 24, 14:00 hrs. They also have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of 2,000 dollars, as part of the registration process. The same can be done using the online payment gateway available on the official site.

This stage would commence from 24th August and remain open up to 29th August. During this period, candidates must take care to select and lock their choices of course and college.
The results of seat allotment will be declared on 30th August. Candidates who are able to secure seats shall then have to report at their respective colleges so as to complete admission. The reporting period for completing the admission process would be between 31st August and 5th September.

The security deposit for government colleges is Rs 30000. This is Rs 2,00,000 and Rs 1,00,000 for private medical and dental colleges respectively. The choice-filling process shall not permit candidates who fail to submit the required security deposit.
