India Post will soon announce the India Post GDS Merit List 2024. Once released, candidates who have signed up for the positions can verify their eligibility by checking the Gramin Dak Sevak first merit list on the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The link will also be posted here upon its release.
In addition to the merit list, India Post will also provide cut-off marks and other relevant information with the first merit list.
To prepare the merit list, India Post will consider the marks obtained/conversion of grades/points into marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard conducted by recognized boards, aggregated to the percentage of accuracy up to 4 decimal places.
Candidates who are shortlisted based on the merit list will be required to appear for the physical verification. The dates for the physical verification will be announced to the candidates via SMS on their registered mobile number.
The India Post GDS Result 2024 will be published in various stages. India Post will announce the merit list of shortlisted candidates for each state on its official website. If a candidate finds their roll number in the merit list, they are eligible to proceed to the next stage, which is the written verification.

Click on the link to download the merit list. The merit list is typically available in PDF format.
Open the downloaded PDF file using a PDF reader.
Use the search function (usually Ctrl + F on your keyboard) to find your name, application number, or roll number in the merit list.
Check if your name is listed in the merit list. Verify the details to confirm your selection status.

How the India Post GDS Merit List Will Be Prepared?
The merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) from recognized boards. The marks will be aggregated to a percentage with an accuracy of four decimal places.

The salary offered may vary from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 16,000 per month, depending on the position and location. GDS, BPM, and ABPM may also receive additional benefits such as medical insurance and allowances, in accordance with government regulations.
