India Post GDS: selection process
The merit list for the GDS vacancy would be prepared by the Indian Postal Department as per the candidates’ educational qualifications. This merit list shall be published in two or three phases in the following manner:
First Phase: Candidates who have passed higher educational qualifications and have better scores shall get a place in the first merit list.
Subsequent Stages: On the issuance of the first merit list, further merit lists will be published, and in terms of educational qualification, the order for the candidates, and their performance will further proceed.
Merit list candidates will get shortlisted for document verification. After successful document verification, candidates will be selected for the position of Gramin Dak Sevak as a part of India Post GDS recruitment.
