Eligibility Criteria for the recruitment
A specific eligibility criteria has been created for candidates who have applied for the assistant professor recruitment. Candidates who don’t meet the requirements of the criteria will not be able to qualify for the recruitment. Read the eligibility criteria in detail on the official website.
1. Age limit: Minimum age requirement is 18 years while maximum age limit is 46 years. Certain age relaxations are also provided. They are given in the table below.

2. Educational qualifications: All interested candidates should have their postgraduate certificates registered with the State Medical Council of Telangana before filling their application forms. The detailed information regarding the educational requirements is given in the official notification.
Selection process of the recruitment
A 100 point system has been created which comprises the components of the selection process for the latest recruitment for assistant professor. Out of these hundred points, 80 points are assigned to the percentage of marks that one gets in the recruitment exam, while the other 20 points are assigned to the experience that these professors have in their respective fields. The conversion of marks, two points and the scale of assigned points compared to the amount of service done by a candidate is explained in detail in the official notification.
